I don't know, WM was known for running Mending too. People bring a complete character to put Mending Refrain on everyone. There must be something useful about it.

Mending refrain is an unstrippable echo, and can be maintained indefinatly for no energy cost. *Mending* is an enchantment, can be shattered, and costs 1 energy degen on the caster =p
There really isn't a time and a place for it anywhere beyond pre-searing.
Moreover though, I have to know... how long did that monk last once that Dervish got his hands on her

They used Mending so the Monk only ever had to be within Radar range of the Assassins to be supporting them. It allows your Assassins to play a lot more aggressively without the Monk getting shit on, and works well with the high mobility they have. It's definately not ideal, and I would be surprised if they continue running it, but I can see why they gave it a shot.

Does it matter? AoD sinsplit has so much leeway on that hall vs dervspike that you can pretty much have some completely random skills and still easily win. Granted, watchful spirit would be more effective, but Mending has the leetness "discuss" factor.

Well... top10-20 is known for stupid/innovative builds. I remember OoV monk bonder instead of a healer when Virtual Dragon [vD] was battling.
But Mending should be used only in pve and even then only in farming/running.

They were trying a build, it didn't work, I'm sure they could care less about the rating.

I saw that match too. It looked like they were just messing around. The water ele had Mind Freeze and the runner was a curse N/E with Storm Djinn's. All good fun.

I like seing people try diff things as dumb as they look or sound, its how great builds are made.
and dont get me wrong, im not saying Mending has potential for a breakthrough build lol but trying things never hurt.
